The second day of the Toronto Comicon/Fan Appreciation event was just as awesome as the first. Perhaps more so as I got to interview the fantabulous Mr. Greg Rucka.
In other news, I began and almost completed my collection of Batman Adventures. Overall, there were some amazing deals to be had.
Continuing from the first day at the comicon, I continued to Tweet my experiences on the second day. It was certainly an interesting experience to have to update in 140 characters or less as, in case you haven’t been able to tell, I tend to be a tad wordy at times. (No, that’s too nice. I’ve come to realize that my epic posts may be TOO difficult to read on a blog – if you’ve made it through one of my more wordier posts, I really appreciate it.) It all comes down to people absolutely hating to read anything past a certain length on a computer screen (which is interesting, especially given that the iPad and other eBook readers are attempting to capitalize on just that). So, Tweeting is actually helping me to distill everything that I have to say using fewer words.
This weekend is going to be just about as crazy as last. I’m off to Woofstock this weekend (however, this is for pleasure rather than to report on the happenings). If you’re a dog lover, I’d highly recommend dropping by the festival, which is this Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 6pm. The main hub of activity is on Front Street between Yonge and Jarvis streets in downtown Toronto. And, if you get there on Saturday, be sure to drop by the St. Lawrence Market for some delicious goodies as well (there’s an amazing artisan bakery in the basement that has THE BEST pain au chocolat that I’ve had outside of France).
And, now…on to the Tweets!
