The waiting is the hardest part

This time of year I wake up and the first thing I do is check the two-week weather forecast. Southern Ontario is a cold place and I’m hoping to see some cracks in the weather out past St Patrick’s Day! No such luck; I’m getting 1-degree highs all the way through (34 degrees to our friends to the south). Cripe, February was warmer! I’ll have to keep waiting.

Though it may be one of my worst segues I’ll still use it to let you know my weekly post will go up Tuesday morning.

  1. For the scenario, a great Tom Petty reference + Rowan Atkinson picture. Sure, maybe a weather report is not highly relevant… But as the cold continues where I am (Colorado, Rocky Mountains) and many of us are very ready for spring — I get it! Don’t let anyone tell you that this wasn’t a great post!

It wasn’t, but don’t let anyone tell you that.

  2. I’d rather be cold in Colorado… not the name of a song, just a thought that came to mind. Eric, I was in beautiful Estes Park back in 1993, I even stayed two nights at the Stanley Hotel. Beautiful country.
