3. Here’s a request :
   The 10 (?) EARLIEST covers that show a superhero with a torn costume.
   I’m thinking these covers could serve as indicators of the shift to comic book heroes that were more vulnerable. Neals Adams has a lot of them, I think. Not sure if his are the earliest.

   My memory could be faulty, but I seem to recall a goofy cover with Lois sewing up a rip in Superman’s costume. That wouldn’t count.
