The Warehouse!

This week Chris calls Walt out on what the heck he’s doing with the comics, toys and all kinds of other stuff in the warehouse Walt rented a couple of years ago.

Please let us know what you thought of this week’s show. Leave your comments in the comments field provided below; all we ask is that you keep things civil.

Any advice for Walt?

  1. Well, since you asked, and this may be confusing for a minute, Te Bheag is neither an Irish nor a Scotch whisky, although it is Scottish, but rather a fine “Gaelic” whisky which is actually a blend of Scotches from the Isle of Skye. It was originally just distilled for the residents of the island, but has since gone out and made its way in the world. The tasting notes describe it thusly: soft, full and rich in character with a high proportion of single malts aged in cherry casks, this deluxe blend has a complex palate, a satisfying peaty note and a long smooth finish. Irish whisky lovers would enjoy that familiar slight sweetness, somewhat similar to a Bushmill’s or a Tullamore Dew. And, it’s only $40.40 for 700 ml.! I’ve been sipping this stuff now for a few years and have never gone back to my beloved single malts since. Just sublime. Slainte!

  2. A Big personal warehouse convention for a week. Do a big promotion and go for it Chris and Walt

  3. I’m pretty sure you can make a few bucks with the warehouse from comic fanatics by turning it into an exclusive B&B (Bed ‘n Book)
Who wouldn’t pay to be able to stay over night with that many books?

  4. Activejim: we promote it as B&B&B&B

Bed and Breakfast and Board and Bag!!!

Walkt will feed ya…after you’ve bagged & boarded a longbox!!! Oh the joy!!!

  5. Yes! it sounds like a great plan, but I’m worried about the younger generation and their love of Harley Quinn.
We might need a “dress” code, and a night guard if we allow them to get that close to the books.

  6. Anybody wanting to ‘cosplay’ will need to dress up as a WECA character. That will limit the number of gate-crashers I am sure!
I am volunteering to judge ‘Best Nelvana Costume’ but may also consider ‘Best Penguin Costume’ [not the Batman villain!]

PS- I have never read a Harley Quinn comic.

  7. Open it up to the people!

Here’s the thing, just podcast listeners!
Walt, Chris and Shekky doing autographs

  8. Brilliant Sandy! He puts the password at the end of a podcast and includes instructions for the secret handshake. Then he puts a large neon sign over the entrance, something like ‘ALL NAKED GIRLS, XXX’ to scare the other book collectors away, and the door b!tch ensures that only listeners are invited into the inner sanctum!!!

  9. I can only listen to these podcasts with a bottle of vodka in my hands. There is no other way….
