I have a show ready to upload but when I put my thing into the thing… nothing happens!
My 4GB memory chip has a show I’m trying to upload but my computer won’t read it. I’ll get someone to look at it and get the show up for Thursday morning.

That card looks like it’s been through the war.
Try turning the card over and cleaning the contacts with a pencil eraser. If it still doesn’t work, try cleaning the contacts with very fine grained sandpaper. If it still fails, use a q-tip to apply isopropyl alcohol to the contacts.
If it still balks, try another computer. By this time, you will be able to determine if if the card or your drive is at fault. To do a final confirmation, try another working card in your drive. If no response, your drive is dead. If it works, your card is dead.
Come on, Walt. Don’t make me write another poem here.
