Watchmen made the top ten list because DC was giving away free copies to retailers who ordered a certain amount of Before Watchmen books as a sales incentive.
The queen called… she said “I’m sorry that my stupid Jubilee thing has caused comics in the UK to arrive in stores a day late… for 2 weeks running now” she went on… “I too am affected, one must keep up to date with one’s AVX.”
Seemed odd that it was in there but that explains it, thanks Scott.
Funny, I thought the Queen would be more inclined to “Night of the Owls” or perhaps the latest Hellboy.
