Comic Book Mustaches

November is coming to a close, and many men around the country have been sporting mustaches in support of “Movember“. This initiative is to bring awareness to men’s health, and especially prostate cancer.

In honour of all these men, who’ve decided to grow some lip fur for Movember (and the ladies in their lives that have to put up with it), here are 5 comic book mustaches.

#5 Sinestro

Sinestro sports a very thin, whispy mustache.  It’s just screams “Hey I’m evil!”

#4 The Comedian

The Watchmen’s own Comedian sports a very fine mustache.  It has that throwback look to the 40’s when a lot of men were sporting mustaches.

#3 Dr. Strange

Dr. Strange may be the Sorceror Supreme but I believe his mustache has more magical powers than the Eye of Agamotto (at least in my mind it does).

#2 Dum Dum Dugan

Dum Dum Dugan’s mustache is awesome… ’nuff said.

#1  Commissioner Gordon

Is there any mustache in comics more iconic than Commissioner Gordon’s?  It is Gordon’s sidekick, much like Robin is Batman’s.

Bonus 5 Tony Stark

I know what your thinking, What about Tony Stark?  He’s has always sported a mustache.  Well the only reason he didn’t make it into the top of my list is because over the last couple years Stark has been sporting a goatee.  I wish he did sport that classic mustache like in the 80’s, but he doesn’t anymore.  So for all you Iron Man mustache fans here is a sweet picture from they hey-days of the 80’s of Tony’s man-tastic mustache and great hair too.
