This cover just works! Greg Land’s homage to Johnny Craig’s famous cover to Crime Suspenstories #22 (April/May 1954).
Ya, no. This is a blatant rip off and feels like an attempt to get Crime Suspenstories 22 into the list even though you didn’t feature it for day 22.
Not sure this one justifies the choice when a classic Kirby cover like Fantastic Four #55 is available featuring the Thing vs Silver Surfer.
I don’t think we can take away from this cover just because its an homage, just look at how much we love Batman #227. FF #55 was on the short list but on Day 55 I was really feeling this one.
