A great comic book cover matching each day of the year, 1 through 365. Please chime in with your favourite corresponding cover, from any era.
Day 32 – Werewolf by Night #32, Artist – Gil Kane.
Yay, I escaped the Golden Age. This Gil Kane cover is a stand out, I love it when the very first appearance of a character is a super strong cover rendering.
The cover to #33 is just a good IMHO.
No way Jose. Leave alone that I can’t understand this book – I realized that it is the bitcoin of comics, bought purely because others are buying it – but the cover is nothing special. I am going to give you THREE Kane covers in my #34s below to choose from, INCLUDING Werewolf by Night, to show you that I am not biased. Really WbN #32 over Captain America Comics #32???
I fell off the wagon and didn’t keep up, but I will try again. Partially my absence was due to the real world, partially due to watching auctions, and partially due to the month-end expiring of CGC’s intro offer for conversion of non-CGC graded books. It took a lot of thought and hand-wringing to decide what to submit, and I was shocked at the all-in cost. It reminded me the adage that the people who really made out during the gold rush were those who sold the picks and pans to the prospectors. Nevertheless if all of the non-CGC grades were to come through intact I think this will turn out to be a good investment.
My #34s:
Atom
Pep
Planet
Showcase
Werewolf by Night
I love this cover!
Also, I really don’t want to go to the same title well too often this will make things more interesting and as I see cause some debate which is a good thing.
