Wolverine #306, Marvel Comics, July 2012. Artist: Chris Samnee.
What did Chris Samnee do to the cover of Wolverine #306? I’m not sure but one thing I am sure of is I want a copy.
If it wasn’t for Samnee’s beautifully out in left field submission I would have went with Mike Mignola’s cover to Hulk #306 now that’s a battle cover!
I’m not sure why I like Ernie Chan’s cover to Superman #306 as much as I do, but I do, do you?
Quality stuff from Keith Pollard on the cover of Thor #306, as I’ve said before, I like it when we get a big dose of the principal players.
The last 2 covers reminded me of joke so I had to add them…
Kevin Hopgood’s Iron Man #306 cover reminded me of the overweight comedian who said to a girl, as he rubbed his big belly, “why you want a 6 pack when you can have the whole liquor store right here”…
José Luis García-López’s cover to Wonder Woman #306 reminded me of the Wonder Woman and Invisible Man joke, that’s one I probably should not type out.
A great comic book cover matching each day of the year, 1 through 365. Please chime in with your favourite corresponding cover, from any era.
I gave my opinion on Wolverine yesterday. I know I will be in the minority here but the only cover I see as a contender in this group is Thor. Hulk has a head like Namor…WW is just another pretty face… Ironman is poster art and not that compelling… and the Superman is meh.
The Iron Man and Wonder Woman were both vehicles for bad jokes!
Sheesh… didn’t even see Tony gave his suit a 6-pack…now it makes me think he pumped up by Hans and Franz!
Wolverine Vs the Brains from Planet Arous! That’s one bizarre cover, and I always did like the Bizarro Superman character and world but haven’t ready any for decades.
