We’re getting less and less to choose from folks, there were only 38 covers to pick from today. Clearly the best of the lot was Bill Wright’s delightful Mickey Mouse cover on Four Color #279.
Hey did Dave Cockrum get the memo that Bell Bottoms were out? Apparently not. Thor #279 may have just ignited a desire in me to collect Bell Bottom covers.
The JOWA for me is Curt Swan’s cover to Action Comics #279, take your hand and cover the word bubbles and tell me you’re not laughing hysterically at the absolute absurdity of the scene.

The Four Color is good but of course I am inclined more towards the X-Men.
You are right on the JOWA. I picked the Hulk because I had seen that Action so many times that I had grown immune. However imaginary so that might be some kind of disqualification.
For tomorrow it is between Captain America and Uncanny X-Men, I will go with Captain America although I don’t like the rip-off Scarecrow, because X-Men is a grieving around cover. I think Walt will be inclined towards World’s Finest.
I want to give the JOWA to Adventure (Superboy is altering Lori’s physiology and physiognomy to get a girlfriend?), but I have to give it to Mickey Mouse. I mean, his name is Mickey _Mouse_, so what is going on here? Maybe Superboy worked on him too.
Today, X-Men won in my heart. Always loved to see Colossus drawn nicely.
For day 280, I agree with everything Meli picked. Cap, even with the Marvel Scarecrow, is another Zeck cover to love.
JOWA is a toss up among several, but MM is definitely a head scratching cover given the lead.
