The art is fantastic but the whole cover layout just screams 70s Marvel.
This is a great idea Walt! Today I am going to suggest you look at Babe #2. This isn’t the John Byrne Babe comic. This one is the golden age book where the main character was a hillbilly blonde put into different scenarios. Number 2 has her as pitcher for a baseball team. Great pick Chris. I actually owned a CGC 8.0 of Babe and a buddy of mine – named Chris – saw it and would not take no for an answer, I had to sell it to him. He gives me visitation rights when I need my fix.
FF #2 is The book that sticks in my mind when it comes to #2s. First Skrulls and really seems to kickstart the Marvel universe with its energy.
